One of the amazing things that happens at workshops all over is all the incredibly different ways the projects turn out, even though everyone is working with one set of instructions. Scroll down for some photos of just a small sampling of our fabulous event. Check the Engelblog again tomorrow for more photos– including some of the finished projects that came out of our wonderful classes.
The panel discussion with me, Dena Fishbein, Marcia Ceppos, and Amy Butler, with Margo Tantau moderating, turned out to be my favorite part of the whole event. Unfortunately we didn’t have the foresight to video tape it, but it was perhaps on account of that very fact that we were able to be so relaxed and comfortable up there! I learned a few new things from it and I hope others did too.
We’re absolutely going to do it again next year and this time you have JUST GOT TO COME! Sign up for our newsletter here so you’ll be the first to know about the next MEHC Workshop. If you did come to this one and want to let everyone know what a good time it was, please leave a comment— we’d love to hear from you. We miss you already!!

That Mary sure looks good! Happy Birthday on Saturday!!! PB
I would love to attend your workshop one day? Was this in NY? I live on Long Island and there are never any great art retreats close to me. I would have gone nuts shopping with all the goodies.
There look to be such great people also. Would love to meet you Mary.
Thank you,
I would like to be on an email contact list to know about future workshops. These looked like lots of fun.

I was there and just in those few pictures see things I missed!! Didn’t know you could see the arch from there. Too busy looking in to look out! It was fabulous and even better to hear that you enjoyed yourself Mary! See you next year. Working on my blog!!
I keep coming up with words like terrific, love, thanks, incredible, fantastic, but they don’t seem to do it justice. I have wonderful memories and pictures and I thank you for being you.
I had such an amazing weekend in St Louis with you! I cannot wait for next year! Maybe, just maybe, my husband will come with. I’ll need his help if I make another glitter chandelier! LOL
More more please!! I am so glad you all had fun! And I am definitely coming next year!! I want to see lots and lots more pictures so I can pretend I was there making goodies with you all!
And in answer to what I did this weekend, I finished my Yaya’s Apron pattern. Finally!
My sister and I had SUCH a great time! It was SO thrilling to meet the artists, and TALK to them! I am so inspired now and the memory of my fantastic weekend with Mary Engelbreit will last a lifetime. Thanks so much!!!
Mary – this is the beauty of blogs – even though I couldn’t be there, I can live vicariously through photos and blog posts… THIS TIME!
I’m so happy to hear it was a success and can’t wait to read more about it.
