Mary has nearly completed the illustrations for her newest children’s classic, Mary Engelbreit’s Fairy Tales. A collection of twelve stories including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel, this will be the third and final book in the trilogy that began with Mary Engelbreit’s Mother Goose and Mary Engelbreit’s Nursery Tales. Fairy Tales will debut in Fall 2010, along with national publicity and appearances. Exciting opportunities for products based on this stunning art are still available!
Mary’s illustrations for her 2010 wall calendar feature 12 brand new illustrations and quotes that show a love for the simple pleasures of nature. This will be the first 12” x 12” release from the artist in more than ten years, and will be printed on responsibly forested paper.
Mary joined the ranks of the blogosphere with her “Mary Engelblog” in July 2009. Her casual, conversational writing style makes fans feel like they’re chatting with her in one of the comfy chairs in her studio.
The official Mary Engelbreit group on Facebook, “Friends of ME” was first promoted in April 2009, and 1200 “friends” joined the group in the first 12 hours! Now with more than 3000 members, the group continues to grow steadily and Mary frequently joins in the discussion and comment threads on the group page as well as her own personal profile.
