Makes me smile!

First let me say the quality of the print ands the care shipping it was excellent. Second, who would think a simple black & white drawing would be as fun and evocative as ME's wonderful, detail-filled color illustrations? But it is. Not just the teen attitude--the slouch, hand on hip, the side eye, the cigarette--but also the echo of the times: the 1970s, conveyed by the hair, the jewelry, the clothes, the fringed bag. Each aspect is perfectly, accurately captured. The statement fits the era so well because at that time, there were more possibilities of ways to live and choices to make than really any other decade--except perhaps the 1920s-30s. Again, the apparent simplicity of this line drawing is really deceptive. Genius.
