This is lovely book made warm, wise and friendly with Mary's illustrations. I purchased this for a "pending" family member. I'm happy to be able to share the rhymes of my childhood and my children's childhoods with the grand generation!

I’ve loved Mary’s work for a looong time! This book is a gift for my grandson, arriving in May. It is just as beautifully done as all her other volumes and I was thrilled when it arrived, quickly and perfectly. I can’t wait to read these well remembered nursery rhymes to him and point out all the details of Mary’s illustrations. Volumes like this one are the makings of childhood treasures we hold dear as we grow up, and share with the next generations. I know this book will be just such an heirloom.
